Mrs. Margaret Ann Cecilia Singh

December 26, 1920 ~ August 29, 2015

Margaret Ann Cecilia Singh was a loving, genuine person, who never hesitated to help others, even when she may have needed the same help. Margaret loved God with her whole heart. She never failed to praise God and thank him for his mercies over herself and children. She also loved her home country of Guyana, often travelling back and forth. This inspired her to designate one of the buildings on her property in Georgetown, to travelling missionaries where they could hold services and care for those in need. She loved hearing the bible being read to her, listening to Christian music on the radio and looking through pictures and magazines. Her last days were spent under the excellent care of Heritage Hospice in Marietta, as she and family members prepared for her home going. She was surrounded by family members at bedside when she peacefully passed from this life into the next. Margaret Ann, will be remembered as a sweet loving, God fearing woman. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. She joins her beloved first born, Frederick Dennis who was laid to rest in September 2000. She leaves to mourn seven of her eight children, Gloria, Desmond, Paulette, Delano, Derek, Joy and Dawn. As well as 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, nephews and a host of family friends. She will be greatly missed, but we all know she is with us as a guardian angel.

‘Gran, can’t stop thinking about you. Love and miss you so much! You were a grand lady who created a beautiful family. I know you are watching over us in peace. Thanks be to God for leading me to faith in God and understanding the importance of prayer. I am so humbled and thankful for a grandmother like you, a honor to call you Gran. I feel you with me.

  2. Jasmine Simone (Meertens) Bajnath, Granddaughter says:

‘Gran Gran… you are heavily in my heart today… I will forever miss you and love you… I again thank you for leaving a permanent seal on my heart and instilling the things in me that you have contributed to my life especially love and faith. My special guardian angel… sleep in heavenly peace. Forever, your SiSi’

  3. ‘Hello Family of Cousin Margaret Meusa Singh,

My condolences to you all on your loss, as well as I feel the loss because I did not get a chance to see my mother’s first cousin. I had heard so much about her and did my best to get to meet her, yet it seemed no matter what I tried we could never make the connection. Now after viewing the video, I now feel a little hole has been ‘closed’ in my life and I am sure for many others as well. The entire MEUSA clan, I am sure, send their love.. Rest in peace aunt Margaret..

I am the son of Edith Meusa, grandson of Samuel Mark Meusa, and great-grandson of December Ebeneezer Meusa from Sandhills, Demerara River, Guyana. I would love to hear from anyone, thank you.. For now my cell number is 804-495-5643, or on FaceBook “Winston Meusa”.. Thank you’
