Charles Andrew Dixon, Sr

Charles Andrew Dixon Sr. of Marietta, Georgia passed away on December 7,2017 in Acworth, Georgia. Visitation will be at 1:00pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm on December 15, 2017. Southern Cremation & Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park will handle the services. Andy was born in Rockford, Illinois to Harold and Helen Dixon on August 5, 1940. He married Melanie Martin, the mother of his children in September 1960. He married Dani Heath in 1976, and they later divorced. Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Helen Dixon, also his mother and father-in-law, Lou and Melanie Martin. Andy is survived by his devoted children, Mary Beth and Bob McCoy; Cathy and Mark Demyanek; Andy and Monica Dixon; Laura and Bill Gary; Michael and Julie Heath; and Lynn Heath. His brother Bob Dixon, his wife Sandy, and their children and grandchildren. Andy was a proud Granddad to 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons. He will be forever missed.
