Mr. Zacharie Vernex-Loset

Zacharie Vernex-Loset, 22 years old, from Marietta, Georgia died February 11,2015. He lost his fight with addiction on February 11,2015. He was born on October 31, 1992 in Perpignan, France, the son of Philippe and Hannah Vernex-Loset. He graduated from Chattahoochee High School as an Honor Student in 2010. He was currently attending Georgia State University majoring in French and Business. Zacharie was working part time as a consultant for Global Transactions Services, a family owned business in order to support himself as a student. Zak was an active, talented musician, and song writer who performed recently with bands like "The Fresh French" and T.I.M.E.S. He loved to create music and perform live on stage. Zak is survived by his parents Philippe and Hannah,his sisters Leah and Chloe. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Danny and Lorraine Barrs. He is also survived by his step mother Jill Vernex and his mother's companion Steve Wakeford, also his aunts, uncles and cousins from France and England. He is survived by his childhood friends Michael Ronco, Tommy Ross and Asbjorn Le Metayer, close friends Rachel Sechler, Toby Edwards,Vanessa Baca, Matt Kramer and Gulla. Also, friends from Chattahoochee and John's Creek High Schools, Georgia State University and Ridgeview Institute. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill.1861 Dallas Highway SW. Marietta GA 30064. The funeral will be held on Sunday February 15 at 2:00PM.
