‘I was lucky enough to serve Jessica and Kyle as their school counselor at Laurel Ridge Elementary. The family was very close and supportive of each other. Mrs. Spurgeon was always available when called upon. We have lost a wonderful person.’

  2. Kai Stockard, Jessica's teacher says:

‘I had the honor of teaching Katherine’s daughter, Jessica, last year. I can tell by the kindhearted and gentle daughter she raised, that Katherine was a wonderful mother. Heaven has acquired another angel.’

  3. ‘I’ve been lucky enough to teach both Kyle and Jessica. Their beautiful spirits will always be an extension of Katherine’s incredible love and kindness. Katherine was one of the kindest, most giving human-beings I’ve known. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with everyone.’

  4. It’s been a little over 11 years since I lost my mother. I’m 23 now, turning 24 in July. I was newly 12 when I lost my mother and it’s been a harsh ride. I still can’t believe she’s gone sometimes.. but even still, I’ve tried my best to become a person she’d be proud of. I will forever love and miss you mom..
