Melanie Kay McEver, age 37, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her residence.
Melanie was born June 13, 1977 in Rome, Georgia to William and Diane Davis McEver. She was employed for many years in the IT Department with Starbucks, Inc. Melanie had a brief but fulfilling life; she had a contagious laugh and a deep love of her family and friends.
Melanie is preceded in death by her grandfather; Willard McEver.
Survivors include her loving parents; William Bruce and Diane Lucille McEver of Marietta, fiancé; David Jonathan Webb of Cornelia, sisters; Laura Fenton and her husband Cory of Acworth and Stephanie McEver and Brian Bappert of Marietta. Her grandparents; Lucille McEver of Rome, Lewis and Melda Davis of Hiawassee, nieces and nephews, whom she fondly referred to as her "Rent-A-Kids"; Lexus, Alex, Logan, Emily, Leah and Autumn. She had a multitude of aunts, uncles, other relatives and loving friends.
A Celebration of Melanie's life is scheduled for 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Woodbine Station Club House, 3285 Pebble Hill Drive, Marietta, GA 30062. The family will receive friends during this time.
