Nancy Elizabeth Peterson, 83 of Marietta, GA died August 5, 2015. Mrs. Peterson is survived by; her beloved husband of 62 years Mr. Frank Peterson, her two daughters Ruth Joy (Robert Gonzales) of Lake Oswego, OR, Alison (Mark) Crowley of Acworth, GA, her son James (Ditto) Peterson of Antioch, IL, her loving sister Mary (Jim) Schardt, her grandchildren; Phillip, Hoberly & Deepraj Drake, Robin, Matthew & Alyse Crowley, Christian, Victoria, Nicole, Katrina & Addison Peterson, her great grandchildren Rhailyah & Ilaiyah Drake, and her nieces & nephews; Jamie (Jody) Schardt, Greg (Rachel) Schardt, Matt Schardt & Emily (Daniel) Nagel. She was preceded in death by her son Charles. Nancy lived in Deerfield, IL for 54 years. She enjoyed spending her summers in Bay View, MI. Nancy was truly fun to be around & will be missed by everyone. She loved her life & loved spending time with her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Due West United Methodist Church (South Sanctuary) in Marietta, GA on Sunday, August 9th at 3:00pm. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to service.
