‘Eddie was among the first people I met at UF in the fall of 1972. He was indeed a distinguished gentleman. Praying that God will strengthen and comfort “baby doll” and the rest of the family. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.’

  2. Cindy, David & Nic Cardoso, Family Friend says:

  4. Diane Jenkins-Harris, Classmate says:

‘I was at the University of Florida with Eddie. He was quite a sophisticated gentleman even back in his youth. When he pledged Omega Psi Phi I was on the line of Que Debs that year. The Black sororities had not yet been admitted to come on campus so the only pledging for black women was with the black Fraternities. We had so much fun pledging with the Ques. Eddie was a lot of fun and so polite and intelligent. My condolences to his family and friends. I had only recently been back in touch with Eddie through Facebook and I am so glad I had the opportunity to communicate with him again. He seemed very happy, loved his life, and called his wife “Baby Doll”. I enjoyed his posts very much. I hope it is comforting to the family to know they have a special guardian angel in heaven watching over them. Rest in Heaven, Eddie.’

  5. Amesha Mason, Family Friend says:

‘Eddie was a class act. I had the privileged of representing he and Donna purchase their home and he treated me with such kindness and respect. He adored his wife and family and it was evident in his communication daily. He was such a beautiful spirit who would welcome you into to his home and treat you like family at a moments notice. Eddie you will be missed and remembered.
