Staton, Larry Hoyt II, 53, of Marietta passed away September 25, 2015. Larry was raised in Marietta and has lived here all of his life. He had his own business, Georgia Wood Care which restored log homes; He started it with only a dream and the money in his pocket from the ground up. Larry loved our country and served in the US Navy. His passions included motorcycles and bodybuilding. He also drove racecars at Dixie Speedway and Rome Super Speedway for most of his adult life. No matter what he was doing, he was giving his all.
Larry is survived by his wife, Vickie, two daughters; Brianna and Olivia Staton, his parents, Larry and Valerie Staton of Marietta. Two brothers; Billy and Tony Staton and a sister; Debbie (Terry) Law. Two nieces and a nephew. Larry was a loved Husband, Father and Son and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, 1861 Dallas Hwy., Marietta, Georgia 30064 Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 5:00 O'clock P.M. until 8:00 O'clock P.M.
