Daisy E. Brown, age 74, a resident of Canton, Georgia, passed away at her home on Monday, March 28th, 2016
Born March 11th, 1942 in Burlington, North Carolina of the late Robert Burbank and Margie M. Covington.
She met and married Arnold Brown in 1960, of this union they had two children, they resided together in Bridgeport, CT before retiring to Canton, GA in 2000. She helped her daughter manage Ceramic Delights in Woodstock for seven years post retirement.
She worked in Loss Prevention at Gimbels and then Bloomingdales, NY & Chicago until her retirement.
Daisy loved socializing, enjoyed going to church, fellowship, shopping and eating good food. With a wonderful smile that could light up a room, you might want to hold on because you never knew what she was going to say or do.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Arnold L. Brown, Sr., her children, Annette Early (John) -Canton, GA; Arnold L Brown, Jr. (Veronica) -Eden, NC
Sisters: Mary Smith, Deloris Freeland, Nancy Bruce; Brothers: Alfred Covington, Proceeded in death Robert and George Covington
Grandchildren, Angelique and Angel Ortiz, Vanessa Brown-Perkins, and three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, lots more loving family and friends.
Celebration of Life Memorial service to be held, 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2nd, at Allen Temple AME Church, 232 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188, Reverend Carl A. Moore, Sr. will be officiating.
