In Loving Memory Laverne F. Burks 1951-2016 Laverne Burks, 64, passed away on April 21, 2016 in Georgia. She is survived by her two sons Freddie L. Lawrence, Jr. and Cornelius Burks, Grandsons (Neal Burks, Dominique Lawrence, Eric Lawrence, Derrick Lawrence and Nigel Lawrence) and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:00am at Southern Cremations & Funerals, 1861 Dallas Highway SW, Marietta, GA 30064. In lieu of floral arrangements, the family ask that you honor her wish by making memorial donations in the name of Laverne Burks to the American Cancer Society.
