Loretta Ellen Porterfield, age 58 of Smyrna, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. A Georgia native, she was a graduate of Campbell High School. She worked for 24 years at Kennesaw Pet Center as a pet groomer.
She is survived by her daughters, April Marie Hightower of Smyrna and Amber Fay Simons of Acworth, her sisters, Sheranna Kerr of Kennesaw, Heather Leverette of Columbus, and Holly Phillips of Acworth, her grandsons, Kyle and Cayden Simons, a niece and two nephews, and her beloved cat Fred.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gazebo in Cascading Waters at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with Johnny Hightower officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to gofundme.com/gb8wjwnw
