Sylvia Rozell McClure passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023, in Sanford, Florida. He went to be with the lord at the age of 94 years. Rozell was born in Cobb County on November 29, 1928.
Rozell is predeceased by parents, Alice and Sib McClure; siblings, Sarah Pitts, MJ McClure, Virginia Hopper, Marion McClure, and Jackie McClure; daughter, Tammy Oller; and first wife, Margaret Theo.
Rozell is survived by current wife, Joyce McClure; brother, Charlie McClure; children, David (Ruth) McClure and Margaret (Kevin) Kinney; son-in-law, William Dennis Oller; stepchildren; grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends.
Rozell, known as Big G by his great-grandchildren, retired from Lockheed and served as a Deacon in the Church of Prophecy since 1968. He had a passion for woodworking and would gift his family with his tables, stands and many others he had created. Rozell served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
