Ricky Lee Hurley

Ricky Lee Hurley was born February 10, 1963, in Dawson, GA to R.L. Hurley, Jr., and Ossie Lee Murphy Hurley. He attended schools in Florida and Georgia. He was an avid self-learner, an explorer, entrepreneur and had a strong interest in dogs. Ricky was united in holy matrimony to Annie Ruth Sellers Hurley on July 5, 1998. He departed his temporary home heading for his eternal home on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Roselane Health Center. Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, R.L. Hurley, Sr. and Carrie Bell Hurley; his maternal grandparents, Littleton John (Essie) Murphy and Dollie Mae (Henry) Clyde and a sister, Linda Faye Hurley. He leaves to grieve his departure, his wife of 25 years, Annie Ruth Sellers Hurley; daughter, Charmaine Hurley (Meridian, MS); Shalishea Sellers, Octavia, father, R.L. (Lillie) Hurley, Jr. (Sarasota, FL); mother, Ossie Lee Hurley (Canton, GA); sisters, Mary Lisa Strain (Canton, GA), Leslie (Donald) Hurley-Mason (Snellville, GA), Melinda (Eric) Bush (Sarasota, FL), Gloria (Eric) Beasley (Grayson, GA), Sebine (Jack) Coleman and Denise Richardson of Sarasota, FL; brothers Brian (Stephanie) Hurley (Canton, GA), Alphonso (Rose) Martin,III and Anthony (Cynthia) Martin, Sr., of Sarasota, FL; grandson, Niklaus Hurley (Meridian, MS); and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
