Domingo Valdez Jr.Junior found Peace on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the age of 51 years. Cherished son of Domingo Valdez Sr. and Maria Valdez, loving Brother of Rasheda Valdez and Ivelisse Matos. He will also be dearly missed by his nephew Christopher and nieces Davielle, Yvette and Lissette, and his aunt, uncles, cousins as well as many other relatives and friends.Junior was a Veteran of the Navy and Army. He served in the Gulf war during Desert Storm. He leaves behind four beautiful daughters.

It was great serving on board the USS McCandless FF 1084 with Junior. We stood many watches and special sea details on the bridge together. He was always an outstandingly great guy and will be missed by many. Fair winds and following seas my brother and friend ~ Johnny Thornley, BM1(SW) USN (ret.)
I’m Eddie Proulx (Prue like true is how it’s pronounced); Jr was my Guardian Angel. I was shot 3x one night and I was bleeding out and he found me and slowed the bleeding and brought the medics in to help me. So Jr saved my life and I am so great full to him and his family . He was TrueType a hero. I just want his family to know what he did for me.
I am so sorry. We were shipmates in the Navy and I just found out. Fair winds and followings seas my friend. You have been relieved. I have the watch. That hits hard.
