Sandra Jean Eaves Henslee, age 79 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on the morning of October 24, 2023. She was born on April 29, 1944, in College Park, Georgia to the late John Napier Eaves and Jewell Sherard Eaves.
Sandra began her nursing career at Parkway Regional Hospital when it opened in 1974. She worked there until the hospital closed its doors in 2002. She finished her career at WellStar Cobb.
Sandra was a member of Faith Community Church for many years. She loved her church family and had a strong faith in God.
Sandra liked to read books, watch the Atlanta Braves, and care for her dog, Josie.
Sandra is survived by her children; sons, Scott Henslee, John Alex Henslee (Laurie), and daughter, Wendi Payne (Mike); her grandchildren, Justin Henslee (Heather), Jonathan Henslee (Anna), Joshua Long, Evan Henslee, Courtney Henslee, and Leah Martin (Caleb), several great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jane Eaves' Sandra is also survived by former husband Linton W. Henslee; and many dear friends that were so faithful in visiting and calling her. ln addition to her parents, Sandra is also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and John Eaves.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4,2023, at Faith Community Church at 11:OO a.m. with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating.

Having Sandy at the hospital when Evan Alexander Henslee entered all of lives? Yeah, that is the greatest memory of her for me.
I worked with Sandy at Parkway and we were friends. She was a great friend and an even better nurse. My heart breaks for her family and continue to lift them in prayer. RIP till we meet again.

I worked with Sandy for over 21 years at parkway. She was such a wonderful person and nurse and friend. My heart is saddened by her passing for it was too soon. I send my deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I will never forget you Sandy.
