Dear beautiful Mama in Heaven . Thank you for always loving me. Even though you are no longer here I can still feel your love so strong guiding me in the right path. I will miss you dearly Mama. Forever in my heart you will be loved. Your Daughter Pam Flores
Growing up I always knew I was different. I knew I didn’t like the same things as other boys did. I have always been very open, very wild, and very theatrical. I loved to shop, dance, socialize, and hang with adults. My nana never once made me feel bad for wanting to prance around her house in her fuzzy house slippers, or carry her purse around town. Some of my best memories are of me and my nana riding around Riverdale and Jonesboro thrift shopping and going to the post office or running errands for Caroline’s. She always made everyone feel welcome, and right at home. She always made the best grilled cheese’s and had the BEST STORIES! She would always tell me the crazy things my dad and my uncles would do growing up, like riding their big wheels off the roof of the house.
There will NEVER ever be another woman in the world like you Nana. I’m going to miss you forever until I see you again. Please watch over us ❤️
Dear Nana,
A grandmother is a source of wisdom, guidance and love. The best storyteller. An inspiration like no one else.
You graced this Earth for 83 years, 6 months and 5 days. However, it is said that life is not measured by time, it is measured by moments. Your moments in life shaped you into the person I was lucky enough to know and love.
You were such a radiant and elegant women.
Your selflessness, compassion, generosity, and empathy were boundless. You were courageous, tenacious, humble, and kind.
You always made sure everyone else was taken care of before you thought of yourself.
You were the best mother, wife and grandmother. A wonderful chef. A light in the darkness. You are a hero to us all.
Your life was not always easy, but you were resilient. You overcame the hardships. You laughed and cried, sacrificed, learned, and loved deeply. You touched the hearts of everyone around you. You lived a full, beautiful life. With that, you left behind an incredible legacy- your family.
I am forever thankful you passed on your love of reading to me. Books nurture minds, and your mind was brilliant, sharp and true.
Every book I read, will be in your honor. As I am enthralled by the words printed across the pages, you will be right there with me.
You are forever in my heart. Greatly loved and deeply missed. Thank you for being such an amazing, extraordinary Nana.
All my love, Maria
Aunt Nancy, you was truly 1 of a kind and blessing to so many people. You always had a way about you that always made the people around you feel better about anything they was going thru. There are so many memories of things through the years that meant alot to me like me you and uncle mark eating at waffle house. Or when me and Angela came and went fishing and we ended up all sitting on the back porch talking for a few hours. And the story of the miniture pig that weighed more than me. You will truly be missed but thank you for the memories that we have to hold on to……. Dwaine Blackmon
Extending our sincerest condolences to the Blackmon family and friends.
One of the best memories of this woman that I had was watching her provide for her children. This woman would do whatever it took, she would haul scrap metal like any man, but hey, maybe even better, because I met this woman guy, every penny she could have every single thing she did. I’m, I’m lucky to have this woman is role model in my life. She taught me how to show unconditional love because trust me where I got a lot of conditions OK and this woman love me, but I will share another memory book a boy is she show me how to make the fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Good we come to the grand slam where I’m from . I’m really gonna miss your mom. – Gary McElwaney
Dear Nana,
I’ll forever cherish all the happy memories we’ve shared as I grew up, and all the time we spent at your house throughout those years. I know you will be watching over all of us and protecting us. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done for me and being a vital part of my life I’ll miss you and as we all continue to grieve I hope we can keep your memory alive as you’d want us to. I hope I make you proud, I love you.
Nana Nancy we love you and miss you so much! With this tree it represents a beautiful live you give us! Memories with you! Laughs with you!
Great Nana,
It’s me Sapphira, and Scarlett too.
We wanted to say we love and miss you!
You’re our own special angel, didn’t you know?
You get to watch over us, while we grow
We hope you’re at peace, above in the sky
Watching us laugh and watching us cry
We feel you in warm hugs, in the laughs we share
We feel you in our hearts, we feel you everywhere
Every time we smile, we will think of you
A lady so kind, and thoughtful too
You’re the beautiful sunrise, the colors so bright
You’re the gorgeous sunset, the stars twinkling at night
You’re the warmth from the sun
The light from the moon
This poem isn’t goodbye, it’s see you soon
Your love will guide us, to a path that’s true
For there will never be a Great Nana, as compassionate as you
I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with you. It is obvious to me that the love and dedication I have to my own children came from you. Reading what others have said about you and the way you cared for your family, I am grateful that I got that part of me from you. Family is everything and I promise to carry on your legacy in that way throughout my life.
I love you, Nana and I will miss you.
-Christy

One of my favorite memories with Nana is I remember when I was little in elementary school. coming out the double doors searching for my mom’s car like every other day. few minutes of not finding her truck passed. There she was right in front of me waving me down was my Nana in her big red truck with all the Betty Boop accessories there to pick me up. I remember how she always brought Buster, her dog along with her everywhere she could. She was the sweetest and most gentle lady you could ever know, and though she may be physically gone. she’s never going to leave my heart and the many memories I have with her. I love you Nana give Buster a kiss from me.
My greatest memories of Nana is how much she loved and welcomed me into her family and How much she loved her great granddaughter Aubrey. I will forever love and miss you Nana
Nana you will forever be truly loved and missed. I used to always love coming to Nana’s house for the good food and the fun riding dirtbikes four-wheelers or just seeing them. I still remember our trip to Daytona and SeaWorld. Nana you will be in my heart forever. Rip you were ana amazing woman and I bet your an even better angel I love you. She used to always call me her Taurus the bull. And always had a good word of advice.

Dear Chicken Nana, I will miss you so much. I will always hold onto the memories I have picking pecans in your back yard, drinking coffee at your table listening to the grown ups talk both of which I was far too young to do but you allowed it and always made us feel just as important as the grown ups. I have heard stories of you getting momma in trouble but as I think back to all our time together I can’t ever remember you yelling at any of us grandkids and there are plenty of us. You were so patient and loving. When I think of you I think of your beautiful smile and your gentle eyes looking down on us. I love you.
Rest easy my Sweet Nana, we will all miss you and love you . Thank you for all the best memories a grandchild can have. I just wish I could give you one last big hug and see your beautiful smile. Tell everyone we love them .
Beautiful sweet , caring, and loving Mama , it is so hard not having you with us anymore in person. I know you are with us in spirit. Rest peacefully beautiful Mama. Forever we will love you Woman. Your daughter Pam
