Charles Patterson

Charles Reid Patterson, 71, of Newnan, GA, passed away on November 06, 2023. He was born on July 22, 1952, in Atlanta, GA, to Arnold and Norma Patterson. Charles was the oldest of four children and is survived by his sister Connie, brother Craig, stepson Tony, and wife Barbara. He was preceded in death by his brother Alan and son Chris. Charles was a friend to many, known for his gentle nature and caring demeanor. Though he may have seemed gruff on the outside to some, those close to him knew that he had a deep care and concern for his loved ones. He will be remembered for his kind heart and unwavering loyalty. Charles was a successful supervisor and plant manager throughout his career. He dedicated himself to his work, always striving for excellence. Outside of his professional life, Charles enjoyed golfing, hunting, and most of all, spending time with his friends. He cherished the moments shared with loved ones, creating lasting memories and building strong relationships. A memorial gathering to celebrate Charles' life will be held on December 16, from 1-3 PM at the Sardis Baptist Church Pavilion in Chatt Hills, GA. Following, there will be a time for family and close friends to share stories and reflect on the lives of our departed loved ones.
