Marietta Southern Funerals & Cremations
Donald Olusegun Adeyi, our light and sunshine, was extinguished in a fatal car accident on Friday, November 10 in the town of Bloomington, Illinois. Donald touched everyone who came across his path with his enthusiasm for life, generosity of spirit and great sense of humor. Donald was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1987 and was first-generation American born to Nigerian immigrant parents. His family then moved to Powder Springs, Georgia where he experienced an energetic and joyful childhood. After graduating from McEachern High School in 2006, Donald embarked on his journey and love affair with everything motorized by majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Southern Polytechnical Institute (now Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, Georgia. Along with his passion for anything and everything to do with cars, Donald was an avid outdoorsman, who loved motorcycling, one-wheeling, skydiving, and skiing. In addition to his great sense of adventure, he also was an exceptional employee and hard worker. Donald held a multitude of jobs in the motor industry, which included employment at Firestone, Walmart Autocare Center, and Hertz Rental. His last employment was as an electromechanical engineer for Rivian at Formel D, located in the state of Illinois. All of us, who have had the pleasure of having him in our lives, feel such a great sense of loss and sadness with his passing. He was a loving and dependable friend, and an amazing son and brother. He is survived by his loving parents, Olabisi and Adisa Adeyi, and his siblings, Akintunde and Omolade Adeyi and brother-in-law, Joshua Mays.

We are so sorry for your loss. Donald was a valued associate and will be missed. Formel D
May the ALMIGHTY GOD forgive his sins, grant him a place in HIS bosom for eternal rest and grant the family a fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
