Dorothy May Duguay

February 19, 1941 ~ November 26, 2023

Dorothy Duguay passed away suddenly Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the age of 82 years old. She was born in New Jersey on February 19, 1941. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Ronald Duguay of 62 years and her two sons, Ronald Duguay and Joseph Duguay. She is lovingly remembered by daughters, Renee Duguay and Jennifer Helton (Jon); grandchildren, Arron Duguay, Ashley Mankowski (JT), Brittani Crocker (Jeff), Casey Prater (Brian); five great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Harley. Dorothy was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Dorothy loved spending time with her family, and taking care of her children was her biggest joy in life. She also loved making everyone laugh, gardening, cleaning, listening to her favorite music and shopping. For many years Dorothy managed the information desk at the mall where her husband was the mall manager. She also worked at Pearl Vision where she was the number one salesperson. After she retired, she wanted to take care of her children, which was her true passion. She taught at the CEE at Marietta First Baptist Church for many years and then nannied for two boys that she absolutely adored. She found fulfillment in life by taking care of others. As we say goodbye to Dorothy Duguay, let us celebrate a life full of love, kindness, humor and cherished moments. May her memory continue to fill your heart with a life full of laughter and love. A visitation and service will be held at Southern Cremations and Funerals on Thursday, December 7 ,2023. The family will receive visitors from 3-4 pm and there will be a brief memorial service following the visitation.
