Marc-Auguste “Teddy” Landais was born on December 15th, 1983, in Brooklyn, NY to Meline Alexandre and (Late) Auguste-Yves Landais. As an infant, Teddy started his journey of life in Port-au-Prince, Haiti surrounded by the love of his grandparents, parents, sister, aunts, and uncles. He departed on November 30th, 2023, where he left behind his legacy. In Haiti, he attended numerous schools such as Saint Jean Evangelist, Saint Louis Gonzague, and College Saint Martial where he developed lifelong friendships. Upon moving to Florida, He attended and graduated from Boyd Anderson High School in 2002. His life journey continued after moving to Atlanta, GA to be closer to his mom and sister. He continued his education at Atlanta Technical College graduating in Aviation Maintenance in 2014. Teddy is the epitome of a great father. He has dedicated his life to his only son, Khyle Thierry Landais. He was adamant on being a positive role model and a present father by devoting his time to ensure they spent quality time together. He was also a loving son and brother, nephew, and cousin. He took on the role of being a protector to his family. You can always count on him to come to your rescue with no complaints. Teddy’s kindness and affectionate heart had positively impacted his family and loved ones and will not be forgotten. Teddy had a compassionate nature and inviting demeanor. He was always dedicated and willing to help his family and friends during dire needs. Teddy’s hobbies included spending time with his son, fiancée, family members, and friends, going to football games and the movies, cooking, traveling, dancing, listening to music, and drinking wine. He enjoyed family gatherings especially during the Holiday season. He was also a man of style sporting the coolest shoes and hats from his collection. He is survived by his mother, Meline Alexandre, his sister, Ann-Melissa McClendon (Landais), his son, Khyle Thierry Landais, his fiancée, Shelda Louis (their wedding was imminent and would have been on their shared birthday December 15th, 2023), his maternal aunt and godmother, Marie Enide Previl (Alexandre), his aunt Marie Monique Alexandre, uncles Guymix Alexandre, Evens Alexandre, Jean Bellande Alexandre, and Dixon Alexandre. 1. I have worked with Marc for several years now and I had the pleasure of working with him in person during my time living in Atlanta. He was always upbeat and had a good sense of humor. He took pride in his work and was always ready to help others when needed. I was saddened to hear of his untimely passing. May you rest in peace Marc and may God help your family and friends with their grief.

  2. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort with which ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
May God give you peace. Marc was a very hard worker and kind. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Teresa Stubbs-Smith
