Susan Katherine Critelli,61, of Marietta, GA, passed away on December 11, 2023. She was born on April 14, 1962, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, to Richard and Katherine Evans. Susan was a loving wife to Gary Critelli. She is also survived by her siblings: Patti (Allen) Snyder, Barb (Steve) Hauke, Tom (Sue) Evans and Craig (Denise) Evans. Susan was a caring stepmother to Melissa Critelli and Ted (Shawna) Critelli, and a doting step grandmother to Charlie and Hazel Critelli. She was also a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Susan had a passion for music and obtained a degree in Music from Valdosta State. She was an active member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, where she found solace and community. Susan was a dedicated, hands on volunteer for many causes close to her heart. In her free time, Susan enjoyed singing in the choir, attending theater performances, and indulging in her love for animals. She was an avid reader and could often be found engrossed in a good book. Susan will be remembered for her brilliant smile and angelic voice. A Mass celebrating Susan’s life will be held at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Marietta, GA, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held in January at Ignatius House. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to your favorite Charity/Cause in her memory. Susan will be missed by all who knew her. May all the Angels lead her to paradise.
