Robert Clark Moore

November 20, 1952 ~ January 8, 2024

Robert Clark Moore, known as “Bondo Bob” to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, at the age of 71. Bob was born in Portsmouth, VA on November 20, 1952, to Robert Moore and Nancy Baum. Bob was predeceased by his son, Stephen Warren Moore of Marietta, GA and his father, Robert Moore of Brownsville, PA. He was also predeceased by his loving in-laws, Howard Warren Mashburn and Mary Greenwood Mashburn of Marietta, GA. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Mashburn Moore. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Marla Jennifer Hershiser and Sterling Roth Hershiser, along with Bob’s two grandsons, Jackson Warren Hershiser and Charles Robert Hershiser of Cumming, GA. He is also survived by his mother and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Bob was a long-time resident of Marietta, GA. He spent over 50 years in the Auto Body Industry, landing him at the top of his trade. He enjoyed traveling to three special places where the Moore family created long-lasting memories: The Great Smoky Mountains, Pensacola Beach, FL and Navarre Beach, FL. He loved making people laugh with his witty sense of humor, rebuilding classic cars, but what he loved most of all was being “Papa” to Jackson and Charlie. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity in Bob’s name or donate to WellStar Tranquility Hospice Care at Kennesaw Mountain – 475 Dickinson Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
