Mr. Whitney Williamson Senat, age 60; a resident of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Emory University Hospital. A Celebratory Service, honoring his life will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 9:00 AM from the chapel of Southern Cremations and Funerals, located 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA 30252.
Whitney Williamson Senat, was born on October 5, 1963, at Justininen University Hospital, in Cap-Haitien, to the parentage of Mr. Leosthene Senat and Mrs. Lyse Fontil. He was the second of four children born to their union. He attended elementary school at the National School Charlamagne Peralta, at Hinche and upon completion of his primary education, completed high school in Port-Au Prince, before migrating to the United States in November 1979. He started his new life in Brooklyn, New York, with his beloved aunts Rosette & Fetide Senat, before moving to the sunshine state with his mother and his younger sister; Magdaline.
While in Florida, Whitney attended Miami Dade College, majoring in Business Administration. In 1992 he met the love of his life Marietta German. The two mutually decided to tie the know and were married on August 26, 1994. This union was blessed with four sons. To support his family, Whitney worked as a professional salesman at Florida Potemkin Toyota, as well as the Florida Hollywood Toyota for numerous years before moving to the peach state, known as Georgia in March of 2000 for a better future for his family.
He lived in the state of Georgia for almost a quarter of a century, navigating among several dealerships, including Cadillac, McDonough Honda, Nissan of McDonough; to name a few. In 2020 Whitney was diagnosed with DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) a condition that prevented him from doing what loved doing best. During the course of Whitney’s life, he touched countless lives.
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, Whitney received the unexpected call from his father in heaven and departed this life.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories through his loving wife, Marietta G. Senat, of Locust Grove, Georgia. One daughter, Ms. Giovanna Senat, four son; Ishmel Senat, Jeremiah B. Senat, Dave Senat and Kareem Senat. Four grandchildren, Genesis, Divine, Galaxy, Kayler.Siblings; Marie Josee and Magbaline Williamson Senat.
