Alice Griswell Tidwell

Mrs. Alice Tidwell age 84 of canton passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Piedmont in Cartersville following a long illness. Mrs. Tidwell was born in Fulton County, Georgia, on May 6, 1939. She retired from Hanger Prosthetics serving as C.O.O. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Canton. Survivors include husband, Larry Tidwell; daughter Robyn Smith (Lance); two grandchildren, Chad Smith (Tiffany) and Crista Shumaker (Eddie); three great grandchildren, Braylen Smith, Micaiah Smith and Lincoln Smith; sister, Sherry Cowan (Richard) and nephew, Wesley Cowan (Jennifer). Funeral Services will be held at Cheatham Memorial Park with visitation at 2pm and graveside at 3pm with Dr. George Anderson officiating.
