Amy Grace Pittman Bennett

Amy Grace Pittman Bennett, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother died at the age of 79, on January 24, 2024, due to heart complications. Amy is survived by her children, Michael S. Bennett (Sherry), Stephen G. Bennett (Chari), V. Chad Bennett, Emily V. Phillips (Jon), Victor L. Bennett (Abby); her 18 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Siblings: Bobbie Bennett (Ron), Sammy Pittman (Vee), Gloria Pittman, Elizabeth Moss, David Pittman (Wanda), Marian Gallman (Mark) Amy was born in Marietta Georgia, on February 4, 1944, to Sidney Luther Roosevelt Pittman and Virginia Maude Stiles. She was widowed with the passing of her husband Jackie in December 2021. Amy enjoyed doing crafts, reading, and loved her flower garden. Throughout her life Amy enjoyed gardening not only outdoors, but always had beautiful healthy green plants in her home. She loved the many beach trips where wonderful memories were made with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She shared a love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
