Proverbs 31 verses 30 and 31 state “But a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” My heart is overwhelmed with the loss of Trudy in my daily life, but it is mainly because she was exceedingly good to me and to my family. I saw that goodness and her kindness extended to all who came across her path. She cared for me when I was sick, even though she was sick also. Many were the days when she fed me as she would call and say not to cook as she was sending dinner. I knew she prayed for everyone she met, and she would offer encouragement when one was down. She cared deeply for everyone. Jesus commanded us to love each other, and I am satisfied that Trudy followed that command. She adopted me into her family, so even in this time of weeping, let us be comforted that her life of goodness has earned her a blessed rest.
It is regretful to see and know that my friend, Trudy, has departed into a new life. However, it is comforting to know that she is out of her pain and health issues and is with her Father in heaven. She was a very special friend. She was an encourager, a giver of self. Anything she had was not too good to share. She would always welcome you in her home, and with her family. Trudy was a faithful believer in God/Christ Jesus, and would always encourage others to walk this path. A void is left now that she is gone, and she will be greatly missed by her husband, children and grandchildren, in laws, friends and anyone who knew her. May the light of her life shine eternally.

My beloved Mom Trudy,
I miss her so much. She encouraged & supported everyone she met; including my family & I. Mom Trudy gave selflessly & abundantly, fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves & inspired so many to do better & be better in the eyes of the Lord.
I am eternally grateful for her kindness, her mentorship & most of all, her heart.
I offer my deepest condolences to dad Toni & my extended family.
Love always,
Karen
