Gladys Bennett Furr

Gladys passed away peacefully and was ready to spend her life with her Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of January 26th. She was surrounded by her children and the great hospital staff at Grady. She was born to Luther and Pauline Bennett on November 2, 1950. She lived all her life in the Marietta and Kennesaw area. Gladys was married twice to Luncy A. Drake (deceased) and Hubert C. Furr (deceased). She is survived by her two children, Andrea (Remi) and Sean. She had 10 grandchildren, Randy Edoua, Valerie Graham (EJ), Serena N’guessan, Shanice N’guessan, Donavon Drake, Deshawn Drake, Sean Drake Jr. , Demarcus Drake, Jaylin Drake and Briana Drake. She also had four great grandchildren Josiah, Egypt, Elijah and Evan. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers Arcie Dekle (Dekle), Mary Jackson (Thomas), Joe Bennett and Oscar Bennett (Wanda). She has countless nieces and nephews whom she loved endlessly. Siblings who are deceased are brothers, Luther Bennett, Richard Bennett, and her sister, Lina Mae Jones. We would like to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers during this difficult time.
