Marvin Howard Fletcher

Mr. Marvin Fletcher, age 74 passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 28, 2024, at Wellstar Hospice Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. Marvin was born on November 6, 1949, in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Albert and Mamie (King) Fletcher. He served in the United States Air Force in Germany and Holland. When he returned home, he had a long career as a concrete/dump truck driver. He loved his family and had many friends; he never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, working in the food ministry and prayer group at his church. He also enjoyed doing puzzles and had many friends at Roselane Health Center where he lived. He is proceeded in death by his wife of 39 years Margarett Rose (Stork) Fletcher, his parents Albert and Mamie (King) Fletcher and his brother Jim Fletcher. He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Louie) Dowis, his granddaughter Lindsey (Nathan) Dantzler and Mychaela Dowis of Kennesaw, his great grandsons RJ and Hank Dantzler and a niece, nephew, and cousins. He will be buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia The family of Marvin Fletcher wishes to extend our sincere thanks to: Roselane Health Center, Tranquility Hospice and Optum Care Nurses.
