At an early age, he attended Owu Primary School and proceeded to the African Church Grammar School in 1965 where he became the best track runner and earned the nickname “greyhound” because of his speed and agility. In 1976, after working a few years in the accounting department of P&T, he decided to further his education outside of Nigeria and received admission to the University of Graz in Austria where he gained his associate degree in 1978. Whilst earning his degree, he maintained his love for sports and participated in track and field and soccer for the school teams. By 1990, Adisa and family settled in Powder Springs, Georgia where he would raise his children and embark on an over 25-year career as a Marriott employee for Marriot Hotels, Intl. He received many accolades and received multiple awards for being a hard-working, reliable, and optimistic employee. Adisa was a God-fearing man and spoke passionately about his faith in the Lord and his love of God. He diligently practiced the word of God daily by reading his bible, attending the Lighthouse for all Nations church, and being an encouraging figure to all those who crossed his path. He was an incredibly generous individual with a very caring personality. Adisa went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2024, after bravely battling cancer. He is survived by his wife, Olabisi, his children Akintunde and Omolade (Joshua) Mays. There is so much to say about Adisa, too much that cannot fit here…but to sum it up, we give thanks to God for his life. Thank you, Lord for giving us this amazing person. 1. Honestly, it still seems like a dream that you are gone. However, we cannot question God. It is an understatement to say you will be missed. We loved you, but God loves you more. Rest in perfect peace Sir.

    • You were gentle, kind, and caring. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

  2. It so hard to say goodbye to a lovely and gentle soul like yours. The little time we spent together was really a memorable one. I could remember when you were telling me that we might not see again, but I kept hope alive not knowing that you have seen beyond what I was seeing.
    Daddy, you are greatly missed.
    Sleep well beloved
