Bernice Maxene Morrison, age 87, of Smyrna, GA, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024.
Born on September 29, 1936, in Lyerly, GA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Belle and Layton Edward Morrison.
Bernice was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She was an avid gardener and loved animals. She was loved her family neighbors, whom all loved her back equally.
Bernice is survived by two daughters Beverly (Michael) Howell and Kathy (Brian) Gaare. Five grandchildren: Lee (Alice) Howell, Melissa Anderson, Melvin Drummond Jr., Billy Drummond, and Sandy (Nathan) Rice. Nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Cancer or Alzheimer's charity of your choice.
Bernice M. Morrison will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
