On April 20, 2024, Jerry Faye Frazier Smith passed away surrounded by her loving family. While she may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Faye was born on September 16, 1947, in Eufaula, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie R and Earnestine Morris Frazier.
On May 23, 1964, Faye married the love of her life, Joel D. Smith. Their union was a beautiful one that lasted for 59 wonderful years. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She is survived by her husband Joel Smith, fur baby Shadow, her children Joel D. Smith Jr., Timothy W. Smith, Kimberly F. Armes (Dwayne “Bubba”), Jonathan R. (Sandy) Smith, and her grandchildren: Brandi (Justin) Adamson, Zachary H. Armes, Kasey Smith, Jake Smith, and Garett Payne.
Faye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She touched the lives of those around her with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. One of the things Faye will be remembered for is her exceptional cooking skills. Her home-cooked meals brought joy and comfort to her family and friends. Faye's legacy will live on through the hearts of everyone she knew.
A memorial service will be held on May 4, 2024, at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Holly Hill Memorial Park at 431 SW Broad Street, Fairburn, Georgia, from 11-1pm.

We know Aunt Faye is celebrating in Heaven with all those who have gone before her. Would loved to have seen her face when she met Jesus!
I can just see her smile she had the most humble spirit about I’m sure Jesus was pleased with her I will miss her
What a wonderful person! My oldest memories of Aunt Faye were her always smiling and laughing, every time I would see her. This memory is as old as I can remember. Nothing but good memories.
