Theresa Shilo Anderson, 44, of Rome, GA passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 in Chattanooga, TN after an acute medical condition. Born in Austell, GA, she was the daughter of Joyce and Rocky Edgens. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sebrina Anderson-Craig; her paternal grandparents, Marian and Edward Edgens; and her maternal grandparents, Minnie and John Meiklejohn.
A graduate of Osborne High School, Theresa worked in food service and was employed with Burger King in Rome. She was a fixer and collected people. In other words, she never met a stranger. Theresa will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her parents, Joyce and Rocky Edgens; her daughters, Sarah Nichole Anderson, Heather Leigh Anderson, and Katelyn Brianna Craig; her brother, Christopher Edgens; her fiance, Jason Craig; her aunts and uncles, Sylvia and Peter White, Linda Toogood, and Judy and Travis Pittman; her cousins, Scott and Lynda Pittman, Amy and Paul Gardner, Brett and Kelly Pittman, Andy Pittman, Paul Erickson, Ellie and Bobby Smith, and James Toogood.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Theresa's life will take place on August 11, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Columbarium Chapel of Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill, 1861 Dallas Hwy. SW, Marietta, GA 30064.
Inurnment of her remains will take place in the Cascading Waters Garden of Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.









Jason & Family…I am so very sorry for your loss. Just think of her life now celebrating in Heaven and loving on the baby you and her had to bury. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Be the man and father that your daughter needs you to be. You are a good man with a good heart and your baby needs you now more than ever.

Dear mommy, I’m sorry I was never around when we got in arguments how I was stubborn, and I’m sorry to my family for not being around at this difficult time . Mom I miss you I just wish we never faught over the phone I wish we could of bonded more when I did see you we bonded over my birthday you made me laugh cry and I knew I could talk to you about anything I’m glad you’re no longer suffering and I’m glad you and Sabrina Can finally see each other and you’ll have to tell me all the funny things happening with Gigi and grandpa!! And I hope you know I love you and im glad your not stuck in the horrible world we live in on earth
I have fun memories of Theresa in high school and in band. She was kind enough to give me a ride home from school. She is a sweet soul, always had a smile on her face, eager to laugh. I think of her often now and wished we stayed in touch. Her lagacy lives on in her children who keep her memory alive.
