Alpheia H. Johnson

Ms. Alpheia H. Johnson passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on June 20, 2024. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 74. Alpheia was born in Dade City, Florida on February 15, 1950, to Walter and Mattie Williams who precede her in death. Also preceding Ms. Johnson in death, is her son, Jerome Smothers. Alpheia was educated in the Bibb County School system in Macon, Ga and she was employed with K&K Soul food. She is survived by her fiancé of 3 years, Larry McPherson. Ms. Johnson will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Paula Williams (Glen Gant) and Cynthia (Avery) Robertson; 7 grandchildren, Antonio (Nina) Williams, Avery Robertson Jr., Antoine Williams, Amberia Robertson, Keiana Williams (Jermaine Telesford), Aleisha Williams, and Ashleigh Robertson; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Willie James (Carol) Williams, Mary L. Seay, Linda (Gerome) Preston, Essie P. Mobley, James (Sadie) Jackson, Rodney (Teresa) Jackson, and Derrick (Marcy) Jackson. Alpheia was loved as a sister by Freda Mitchell, Renee Mapp, and Karen Smith; as well as a host of devoted nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
