  13. “A Shared Childhood”

In our youthful days, not thinking then, one would leave, not say, “again”.
From laughter shared and scrapes healed,
In ways our love has been sealed.
Now, empty stands our childhood stage, the book has turned another page.
With tears we close this chapter, true,
But in our hearts, we’ll always have you.
Though life moves on, in memories bind, you’ll never ever leave our minds.

    Your Cousins

  14. “Unbroken Chain “

Another link is missing, removed from the span,

  37. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit,
    Psalms 34:18

With the passing of our classmate, we are forced to sit back, pause and wonder how just yesterday that young man was sitting with us in class, studying alongside us as we strived forward to our goals. It is then that we are reminded of just how precious those school years were, and how so many touched our lives as we proceeded along our individual journeys though childhood and adolescence.

Verne was definitely one of those that we all can remember with such fondness.

For some of us it was as far back as middle school and the school band years. For many it was the years of walking the halls of CAHS, for others it was the years of adulthood and military life, but for everyone it will be for his sense of humor, his smile, his character, his integrity, his love and passion for life, being the life of the party, he will definitely be remembered, and we will all cherish those memories forever.

So, we the C.A.H.S. Class of 1975 wish to extend to you the family our sincere and deepest condolences on the passing of our classmate, brother and friend. (2 Corinthians 5:8, reassures us in the scriptures, “we are confident, I say, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord”.) It is our fervent hope that Verne is at Rest now in the arms of our Lord and Savior, free from all of the ills and sufferings of this world and we share your loss at this time.

Rest well brother, until we meet again………CAHS Class of 1975🙏🏽
