In memory of a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and brother in law. You will remain in our hearts forever.
The staff of Southern Cremations and Funerals at Holly Hill wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Gable.
I worked with Richard for about 15 years. He and I worked at Turbo Diesel. He was a good man and was a good man to work for. He supported me and was a good mentor. May He rest in peace!
Richard was the best brother I could have asked for when my sister married him back in the 70s. His love and caring for Susan and I, as teens, and through the years was so special. He loved our children even though we moved miles away. I will miss our times together, sharing family stories. I have always been so proud of his military service. May you finally rest in peace with God and your family in heaven! We will miss you, until we meet again.
I was blessed to have met Richard through work, he was the best distributor that I had in all the years that I worked. It developed into a friendship that carried on even after I retired. I will miss him as we talked many times each month. We were both Viet Nam veterans.
Richard and I were like brothers, we could start a sentence and either of us could finish it. We worked and traveled together for over 20 years during our business careers. In addition Laura and I would go on cruise vacations with Lynn and Richard several times visiting many of the Caribbean Islands with many fond memories. We are saddened with the loss of Richard but we know he is at peace with Lynn now at his side.
