Linda L. Naylor, age 84 of McDonough, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Born in Gadsden, AL on July 14, 1940, to Howard and Ollie Mae Latham, Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John W. Naylor; her parents; her brothers Paul and Bobby Latham; her sisters Doris Ellis and Diane Latham; and her granddaughter Brooke Naylor Rees. Linda is survived by her children, Steve (Dana) Naylor; her grandson, Steven (Whitney) Naylor; and her great-grandson, Bass Kevin Naylor and Brooke’s husband Thomas Rees, along with extended family. In her younger years, Linda was an avid golfer who cherished the sport deeply. She fondly remembered traveling and competing in tournaments with her husband and friends, including memorable rounds at St. Andrews in England, Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland, and Carnoustie Golf Links in Scotland. She also had a great passion for football and baseball, with a special place in her heart for her Atlanta Braves. Linda loved her family dearly and will be profoundly missed. Her family will hold a private graveside memorial to honor her memory.We love you, Mother and Grandma.
