Cecelia "Jane" Langlois went to be with her Lord on September 13, 2024. She was born to Gerald and Catherine Sampica in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 20, 1947.
Jane was full of life and love, and she adored being a wife and mother . She always found the joy in the little things: birds chirping, a baby's cry, or a blooming flower. She was loved by many, and never met a stranger. Jane will be missed by all that knew her.
Jane is preceded in death by her mother and father, Gerald and Catherine Sampica; and her brothers, Gerald Sampica and Timothy Sampica.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard Langlois.
Her legacy will be cherished and continued by her son, Joseph Langlois; daughter, Jacqueline Searles (Daniel); grandchildren, Daisy Sepulveda (Alex), Bridget Searles, and Luke Perea; sisters, Christine Petroff and Mary Cocking (Jack); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Langlois Family invites you to celebrate Jane's life at a memorial service on October 18, 2024, from 2-5 PM, at Southern Cremations & Funerals in Marietta, Georgia.

Jackie, Our thoughts and prayers are with you & family as you remember your mother at this time. Our Love and Sympathy, Kevin & The SESCO Family
Forever in our hearts and memories , I will always be grateful for. This wonderful lady
“Cecelia Jane Langlois” will remain in our hearts forever.
Jane was my sister. I was the youngest and she was second oldest of 5. I remember her courage and protective nature. She sang Ave Maria at her own mother’s funeral. Not an easy song, but she sang her mother’s favorite song beautifully, while I just cried. I admired her and will love and miss her all my life.
So sorry about your loss, did not know Jane, but know Aunt Joyce used to speak about her. I am Bernard Sampica’s daughter.
Jane was a sister-in-law. To think back many years ago, Mary and I went to K I Sawyer air base. This was my first meeting with Jane and Dick. I remember Dick would play the organ and Jane singing. They were the best together. Like everyone says, She was a friend to everyone. Mary and I will miss her very much. Mary loved to visit Jane. SHE will be missed by ALL. Jack Cocking
Jackie our thoughts and prayers are with you, Dan and your family.
Jane was such a good friend and neighbor. I loved her and miss her so much. She was the most optimistic & generous person I have ever met. An example: someone would complain about a baby crying and she would say, “ I love the sound of a baby crying. It’s the most beautiful sound you can hear.” She loved shopping and I hate shopping but with Jane it became an adventure. She taught me cooking shortcuts. She loved God and was thankful for every little creation. She told me how even an avocado made her marvel at God’s creation. She loved her children and was so grateful that she got to live to see them into adulthood. I wish I could have met her when she was in better health but I marvel at her motivation to get up and get going even when she felt lousy. So glad she was in my life. Jackie, thank you for sharing your mom with me.
