Dad you thought me the meaning of what it takes to be a man. Thanks for your support throughout my life. We love you we are going to miss you.
Mr. Charlie, this is how I will always remember you – solving the problems of the world with your good friends. You will be missed. Love, Lisa
My heart aches from the loss of this incredible man. 😢
Such a kind soul who loved to smile and always made my experiences at the deer camp much more fulfilling and enjoyable.
“Dad” always made me feel like a member of the family and was full of knowledge about life and many other topics that he gladly shared.
I especially loved and experienced his humble nature and he always left me feeling better after a conversation.
Call it positive energy even when he had every right to share his pain and struggles.
Thank You for giving me the opportunity to call you a friend and your memory will be with me until we meet again some day.
God bless your amazing wife and son Kevin.
60th wedding anniversary with church family.
Great occasion with wonderful couple.
At 60th anniversary party; wonderful time together with dear friends.
Friends sharing some time together.
We will miss these thanksgiving photo shoots with you paw paw. We will always keep you in our hearts, until we see you again.
We love you paw paw,
Kody, Kenzie, and Devynne
Thanksgiving will have one less plate on the table year but knowing you’ll be celebrating with our Heavenly Father brings me so much peace. Love you always!
Paw paw throughout the years you have always been one of my biggest role models! Staying up way too late to watch football to playing pool in the game room, even you teaching me how to play golf! No matter when I came over you would always update me on the world, making sure I always know what’s changing. I’ll miss coming down on Thanksgiving and here you yell for mawmaw, when you are trying to find where you put something! Watching you play with Devynne that first time meant the world to me and Kenzie, I’m grateful for the time she got to spend with you and to know she got to be a part of your love! We miss you so much already pawpaw, and we look forward to seeing you again. With heavy hearts filled with love and sadness Kody, Kenzie, & Devynne!
We love you PawPaw. I’m so glad your body is now healed and you’re in the arms of Jesus. But we miss you terribly.
We are so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of our families together. Charles was a great man of honor that loved God and his family. I look forward to the time when we are all united in God’s great family. I’m so thankful that God granted us one last opportunity to visit, reminisce, and joke around like old times. “Sam” will miss you. You will be missed by many!
I met Charlie and Ivadell at WCG in Kingsport TN. We enjoyed years of fellowship and friendship with these wonderful people. They are a shining example of Godly people. I miss them. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love Sandee Jones Tibbs
I will always love you. What a day it will be when we are resurrection that God promises to each one that obeys him and keeps his laws, and commandments. Can’t wait to see you again.
You will always be with me. Love you forever.
Will miss the kindness that you always showed me and my family. How you always thought of my sister and protected her. IdaMae
