  2. My deepest sympathy for the lost of your husband, father, and grandfather.

My fondest memories of my cousin Joe are the happy days we spent growing up together on our grandparents small farm. We would run through the woods exploring, laughing and playing Tarzan. We’d build frog villages in the sand in the front yard. But the best memories I have are of his hugs. When he would see me after a long absence, he would give me the tightest hugs. One time he hugged me so tight that I thought a rib cracked. I loved his hugs.

Joe you are free. Fly high my dear cousin. I love you.

  22. To me …Joe was always well manner-able and didn’t take much for him to laugh, his kind spirit and humbleness ways will be never be forgotten… Rest in peace bro…. Nephew Jackie jr.

  23. I met Willie Joe when my family was living in the old Betmar apartments that sat at the end of Pryor Rd next to the fairgrounds. Willie Joe, “Big Wheel”, “Lil Wheel”, my brother “Old” and myself spent countless days playing baseball and basketball together. Willie Joe and I always used to talk about going to the country doing the summer. All the years we talked about the country, we never said where we were spending the summer until years later. Willie Joe was visiting his great aunt Ms. Minnie Sherrer in Washington Ga when he saw a photo of my brother in her home, that’s when we realized that we both were from Washington Ga. He called me and we just couldn’t believe it. He and Sandra came to my home in Washington to visit and then we went to his grandparents place to visit. It just solidified our friendship, to me he was family. Willie Joe was a great friend and a great man. He was a cool dude with that great smile of his. Rest in Peace Brother.
