Don was my friend, my co-worker and my brother from another mother. I first met Don in 1979 when he came to work at May& Co. In 1996 I left to work for Profit Promos. Two years later I called Don and he went to work with us. In 2010 I went to work for the Douglas County Water Dept. Four years later I call Don and told him about a job opening. Once again here come Don. After I retired in 2021, a part time position came available in 2023 back at the Water Dept. with an opportunity to go back and work with Don. It was a no brainer. We basically worked our whole lives together. But it is never work when you enjoy who you work with. I loved Don and I told him and he always told me the same. I will miss you brother. RIP my friend.
Dearest Teresa, over the years we’ve taken many trips together but this one in 2005 is still by far the best vacation. Don will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
You are in my thoughts and prayer. May you feel Gods presence during this difficult time.
Our hearts are with you during this time of loss,Judge Washington and the Probate Court Family
I had been out for 2 weeks and when I returned, I heard that Don had been in the hospital and then suddenly he was gone. I loved Don like a brother. Worked down the hall from him for years. He always had a smile on his face and his zeal for life radiated from him. He loved his family and was excited about being retired. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss… Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
