Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Parks passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, at the age of 63 years.
Katherine is predeceased by her mother, Martha Jo Smith, who passed in 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Randy Parks.
Katherine leaves behind her children, Christopher, Benjamin and Abigail and her father. She had a huge family that included so many loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her extended family at Pitner Elementary School and Kincaid Elementary School.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 14th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. To Randy, Chris and Abigail I have such fond memories of my children Heather and Ashley playing together with Chris and Ben when they all met at Pre K at Kennesaw First Baptist Church. I’m saddened to hear about the passing of this sweet lady. Every time I came to the school, she would greet me with … “hello, Poppa B – come on in!” She will truly be missed. My condolences to her family. Kathy, we will see you in the morning .. Goodnight.
