Listenbee III; his siblings: Frankie M. Listenbee, Timothy O. Listenbee, Tracy Andrea Listenbee-Triplett, and Natalie C. Blake; and three grandchildren.
A proud veteran, Frank served in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Kuwait. Though his military service shaped his character, his artistic and creative pursuits were the true heartbeat of his life.
Frank’s career reflected his resourcefulness and drive, with roles in project management and engineering that showcased his ability to adapt and excel. While he thrived professionally, his true passion lay in living life on his own terms, embracing the freedom to create, explore, and express himself.
Frank was an exceptionally talented artist, and his love of art was something he passed down to his son 'Trey'. Frank was known for his striking drawings of celebrities, including Prince, as well as his sister Myona, and for abstract murals that showcased his vibrant imagination and skill.
A creative spirit at heart, Frank found his greatest joy in music. His man cave was his sanctuary, a space where he could immerse himself in the melodies that fueled his soul. He had a deep appreciation for the Philippines, a place he held close to his heart, and his life was enriched by the experiences and friendships he cultivated there.
Frank’s independent spirit and unique outlook on life left an impression on everyone he met. He will be remembered for his warmth, wit, and ability to see the world in his own special way. Ever since he was a little boy, Frank loved to tell corny dad jokes, a gift for humor that delighted his family and friends and became a hallmark of his personality.
Frank’s love for God was an unwavering foundation in his life. Though he marched to the beat of his own drum, his faith was a constant rhythm that guided him. He found peace and inspiration in his relationship with the Lord, which was evident in the passion and creativity he poured into everything he did. Whether through his art, music, or the kindness he extended to others, Frank reflected the love and grace of God in his own unique and authentic way. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
