The staff of Southern Cremations and Funerals wishes to extend their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of David.
David was such a loyal and devoted man in everything he did whether it was for friends, family, co-workers, or employees who worked for him. He inspired you to be the best you could be and accepted you even with your faults. He was simply “a good man who loved God.” And, we loved him. Marshall Family
We love you, David, and were gonna miss you. But youre gonna be in much better company than any of us.
David was a spectacular work colleague. He knew the right answers to most issues and how to couch them so that they were acceptable to potential doubters. He was a great project team member. I always asked for him whenever I was conducting a study In his department and/or field, and he never let me down.
Subsequently he was a great contributor to the Georgia State Retirees Association in support of fellow state retirees. His memory shall endure as a blessing.
David, words cannot express our sadness for your passing. For the years of friendship, support, love and advice you’ve given us, we will forever be grateful. May Elizabeth, Jason and your family be comforted by the knowledge that so many have been blessed by your kindness, love, friendship and selfless devotion to others. With Love always, Rick and Jewell Berry
David will always be remembered for his smile and friendly manner. I enjoyed working with him and respected his love for his family and friends.
Elizabeth and Jason, my heart hurts for you both.
David was a wonderful guy and I enjoyed working with him at the State of Georgia. He was very instrumental in making our state a good one. He will be missed by many and he always had a smile and a hug. Blessings to all of his family during this time of sorrow. Arubra Hembree Gardner
