“The loss of a loved one is the most devastating experience one can face. Our Creator knows this and is ready to comfort you. Psalms 55:22 says: “Throw your burden on Jehovah’ and he will sustain you.” As you hold your dear loved one in your memory, God does too. His son Jesus assures us at John 5:28,29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” This may seem unbelievable. But remember Lazarus, and Jesus. God restored their lives. (John 11:34-44; Luke 24:1-6) These assurances may not completely comfort you, but they can truly help to give you the strength and the hope to keep going on. My deepest condolences.
