Sue was a very good friend. We spent many hours together through church activities and eating out on Sundays after church. One of her favorite stories to tell was when she first started working for the telephone company in Tennessee. Work would call her at home and ask for Carolyn Smallman. Her mother-in-law happened to answer the phone and (because she went by Sue) would tell them nobody there by the name Carolyn. They would call back immediately and the same thing would happen. Finally it dawned on Sue that she wasn’t known as “Carolyn” at home and the next call that came she answered the phone. Sue really loved God, Bob and ALL of her family. She was super excited to become a great-grandmother. I pray for God’s comforting arms around each member of the family and peace in knowing how precious each of you were to her. God Bless you all!!
I knew Sue, as a dear friend. I met Sue and her Husband, when I had attended Gracepointe Nazarene Church. Loganville,Ga. We spent time together, from time-time. Sue was always a joy to be around, with a wonderful sense of humor. I also had the pleasure, to meet other family members, they are very welcoming. I will often think of her, miss her sweet smile.
My thoughts are with the family at this time. May God bless you all with peace and his love.

I met Sue at Gracepointe Nazarene Church in Loganville GA. She was a loving, warm, caring, unpretentious friend. We had many wonderful, soulful, laughable conversations. It was a joy to be in her presence. She loved God and her family. This world needs more people like Sue who displayed a warm, gracious, giving heart. I am praying God will give you strength, peace, and the gentle comfort your heart needs. I love you.
Sue was very kind to me over the years and I will miss seeing her. Im sorry to the family for your loss.
