Margaret "Lucille" Elizabeth Alder

Margaret “ Lucille” Elizabeth Alder, passed peacefully on January 19, 2018. She was born to George Bedford and Mary Elizabeth (Davis) Alder in Sneedville, Tennessee on January 2, 1941. "Granny Margaret" loved working puzzles, the beach, her grand and great grandchildren! Although small in stature, she had a huge personality and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in in death by her parents, Bedford George and Mary Elizabeth (Davis) Alder and brothers; Dean Alder and Don Alder. She is survived by her two children; Lawrence “L.C.” (Patti) McCoy Jr. of Marietta, GA and Dawna (Thomas) O’Rourke of Powder Springs, GA. Three Grandchildren, Rachel (George) Warren, Meredith (Matt) Giannoni and Sarah McCoy and four Great Grandchildren; Giovanni O’Rourke, Gia Warren, Hank Giannoni and Rhett Giannoni and one sister Norma (Donnie) Shaw of Sneedville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Margaret’s request, there will be no services; however in lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local C.O.P.D foundation or The American Heart/Lung Foundations.
