Charles “Chuck” Wayne Sales Jr., age 58, was born September 1st, 1966 to the late Charles and Bertha “Elaine” Sales in Cleveland, Ohio. He departed this life on March 29th, 2025 at his home in Newnan, Georgia. After finishing Shaw High School, he enlisted in the US Navy where he proudly served upon the USS Savannah. During his military career, he received several special awards including: the Battle “E” Ribbon and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. After serving in the military, Charles completed The Lawton School of Private Security and Investigation Course, which he proudly utilized in protecting his community through the Cleveland Housing Police Service, and later served as a volunteer firefighter in Rockingham, North Carolina. His first love was working within various family businesses. As a child he would watch over his Uncle David’s gas station, worked with his Brother-in-law’s jewelry business, and at his Uncle Johnny’s car dealerships. Charles completed his Forklift Operator and Safety Training from West Georgia Technical College in September of 2020. After receiving his certificates, he spent the rest of his career as a Customer Service Supervisor at Budget Car Rental.He accepted Christ and was baptized under the leadership of Bishop Johnson at The House of the Lord in Akron, Ohio. He was a proud member of the Men’s Ministry and a humble servant in the Comfort Care Ministry. Under the leadership of this church, Charles not only participated in ministry, but he also became a devout student of the Bible. In 2018, Charles was ordained as a minister by the Universal Life Church.Additionally, Charles was a superfan of all Cleveland and Ohio State Sports teams. Charles was also an avid sci-fi fan, Star Trek figurine collector, and model firetruck builder and collector.Charles was joined in Holy Matrimony to Kimberly Francis on September 4, 2004 and to this union, two daughters were born. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bertha “Elaine” and Charles Wayne Sales Sr., and his sister Corrine Nancy Adams all of Cleveland, OH.He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Kimberly Charlene Sales of Newnan, GA and four Children. Charnai Nikol Sales of Cleveland, Ohio, Keith Marquis (Alyssa) Cross of Farrell PA, Cayla Janae Sales and Courtney Elaine Sales of Newnan, GA. He also leaves 5 grandchildren: Charlee Nikol, Jaylen James, and Alijah Charles Sales of Cleveland, Ohio. Xavier Francis Cross of Canton Ohio, and Destiny Reign Cross of Farrell, PA, and a host of other relatives and friends.








You will be sadly missed.
