Donna Rodman

March 29, 1955 ~ May 18, 2025

Donna was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was born in Jacksonville, FL. After moving to Marietta, GA she met the love of her life, Tom Rodman and they were married on April 30, 2005. Donna worked as an Administrative Assistant in the world of finance for many years. Those who worked with her admired her abilities with technology and personal relationships. She had recently retired in March 2024. She and Tom had many adventures in travel. They both relished their time at the beach and spent many happy weeks at Anna Maria Island, Florida. Donna loved watching the birds at the beach and at their home and was especially fond of the hummingbirds. Donna is survived by a family who loved her deeply: Husband, Tom of 20 years, brother Robert Nelson (wife Peggy, daughters Pam and Jennifer), sister Ruth Connor (husband Jim, sons Tim and Terry) brother Jim Nelson (wife Rita, sons Jordan and Jared), sister-in-law Beth Schilling (daughter Virginia), niece Sarah Rodman. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to an organization that Donna supported: Islandturtlewatch.com A Celebration of Life will be held at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta, GA on June 14, 2025. Guestbook

  1. Donna was a colleague at GreenSky who will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to work with her. She was the consummate professional and a warm and wonderful person. Rest in eternal peace Donna – I deeply miss you.
    Vicki Mirandah

  2. Donna, dear sister, was a priceless gift, someone who brought joy, warmth, and a sense of companionship that no one else quite could. She was more than just family, she’s a confidante, supporter, and one who truly understands you in ways others miss. Whether through laughter, shared memories, or simply being there for you in tough times made her super special. Her presence reminds you of the beauty of unconditional love, and life is richer because she was in it. Rest in peace, sis, and may you rise in glory.
    Robert

  3. Donna was a dear, special friend. We shared much of life and adventures with Donna and Tom. We are missing her greatly. What an amazing lady she was. We loved to laugh together and those memories are precious.

  4. Donna had an amazing personality that made you feel as though you were very important to her. At work, she was a pillar of stability, laughter, and ever ready with a genuine warm smile, or word of encouragement. I will miss her terribly. I know she is at peace, most likely with sounds of birds ever present.

  5. Donna was an amazing woman and joy to work side by side with. Her smile & laugh could light up the room without speaking a word.
    She will truly be missed.
Sending love and prayers to her family. May God send comfort as the waves of grief come and go.
    Blessings,
    Latoya

  6. It was a pleasure to work with Donna twice – at GreenSky and previously Arthur Andersen. Donna was a wonderful person and respected professional. I’m grateful for the time we had with her and praying for Tom and the entire Rodman and Nelson families.
