Ernest Thomas Boatwright, age 83, born January 11, 1942, of Greenville, GA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
He was an outgoing member of Miracle Way Baptist Church in Senoia, GA where he played the guitar and was retired from Swift Trucking Company that he loved to be a part of.
Ernest was a very loving husband and father/grandfather, leaving behind his wife Maiebell Boatwright; son Tommy Jeffery Boatwright; and daughters Donna Faye Smith, Brenda Darlene Smith, and Paula Jean Rutledge; he also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Ernest will be loved and missed by all!

With loving and fond memories of Bro. Ernie, Richard and Doris Chappell are deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Our deepest sympathy goes to Sis. Maiebelle and the entire family. Bro. Ernie played and sang of his home in heaven where he now abides.
Ive got to spend 61 years with this man as my father and I can say its been a 61 years of joy and some tears I will always cherish and love him today and the rest of my life .RIP now dad and know we all are missing you so much especially your stories you told.
My Daddy was one of a kind and never knew a stranger. He would always help anyone if he could. I know he is at peace now. He will be missed greatly.
