William Lee Kunkle

December 12, 1964 ~ April 17, 2019

William Lee Kunkle, 54, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away on April 17, 2019 after an extended battle with Cancer. He was born at Ft. Belvoir – Alexandria, Virginia the first-born son of William Alexander and Ruby Mae Lowery Kunkle on December 12, 1964. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He adored his children. William was an accomplished man with a Degree in Physics and Geology from the University of Arkansas – Monticello. He worked at Georgia Pacific for 18 years before retiring and then moved to Georgia. He married Rhonda Breaux Kunkle, and pursued his Master’s in public History and Museum Administration. A well-rounded Renaissance Man, he was active in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and even held the position of Autocrat for Gulf Wars. William was a Mason receiving the rank of Knight Templar. William also was active with his church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, council number 6517, and achieved the rank of Third Degree. William had a kind soul, warm heart and infectious smile that will continue to influence his friends and family. He was a humble, pure soul, and was selfless when dealing with all people. His graciousness has been felt throughout the world, and his gifts will be forever remembered. William is survived by his wife Rhonda Breaux Kunkle, step-son John Breaux, married to Haley Larsen Breaux of Australia, son Kyle Kunkle, married to Leigha Kunkle of Scotland, step-son Mathew Breaux, significant other Maria Vu; his daughters Hannah Kunkle, Emma Kunkle and Katie Kunkle; grandbabies, Alba Kunkle; twins Bindey, Bernard Breaux and soon to grace us with his birth, Sullivan Lee Dallas Kunkle.
